If You’re Considering a Neck Lift……

A true neck lift is part of the facelift and addresses vertical bands and loose skin in the neck and chin area. The incisions are the same as for the facelift, including in front of and behind the ear. An additional small incision is made beneath the chin to grant access to the banding areas.
Patients without bands but with excess fat deposits may benefit from neck liposuction. Through a small incision the tumescent solution is infiltrated permitting the fat to be isolated and removed with minimal blood loss. In certain patients the ultrasonic assisted liposuction would be offered. This newer technology tightens the neck skin, potentially adding to the jawline definition.
